Play rankedHow ratings work
Ratings use the Elo system. You gain points for a win and lose points for a loss; beating a stronger player gives more points. Your first 20 ranked games count double so new players find their level quickly. A draw moves both ratings toward each other. Only ranked games count, and they need a Google sign-in.
Reversi games end when neither player can move: the player with more discs wins and equal discs is a draw. Games also end by resignation, running out of time (30 seconds per move) or a draw by agreement. A player with no legal move passes automatically.
